PALS is an academy run by Pragmatiq. Our students work as apprentices at Pragmatiq’s client companies while studying part-time for B.Voc degrees from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).
How it works
A job and a degree, at the same time.
Students don’t have to choose between earning and studying. They build a career from the first day, with a university degree alongside.

Start an apprenticeship
Join one of Pragmatiq’s client companies as an apprentice and learn on real production work.

Study part-time with TISS
Work towards a B.Voc degree from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences alongside the apprenticeship.

Graduate job-ready
Finish with a degree, industry experience and a route into a full-time role.

B.Voc in Electronics Manufacturing
For students who want a career in electronics assembly, testing and manufacturing operations. Apprentices train at electronics client companies while they study.

TISS is one of India’s leading public institutions for higher education and awards the B.Voc degrees. Pragmatiq runs the academy, places students as apprentices with client companies and supports them through the programme.
Who does what
TISS: curriculum, teaching and the degree.
Pragmatiq: selection, apprenticeship placement, mentoring and student support.
Client companies: on-the-job training and real production experience.
